You’re not alone. You’re here with Hailee.

From solid ground, we rise.

Trauma-informed, identity-affirming therapy for individuals, children, teens, and families in Miami and virtually across Florida.

Hi, I’m Hailee.

I’ve always been drawn to the parts of people’s stories that go untold – the experiences that shape us quietly, deeply, and sometimes in ways we don’t even fully notice at first.

Therapy offers us a place to bring those stories into the open. Together, we have a safe space to explore the patterns that have formed over time and begin building ways forward that feel real, grounded, and lasting.

Here, you have a place to slow down, be seen, and explore your story without judgement.

Background

I am a Registered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern in Florida, and my work is shaped by both my professional training and lived experiences.

As a biracial Black and Italian woman who has lived in many places, I approach therapy with cultural humility and deep curiosity about the ways culture, family history, environment, and generational patterns influence emotional wellbeing.

Identity and context matter. Our experiences are never formed in isolation, and therapy works best when it honors the full story of who you are.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in pediatric and medical settings as a Certified Child Life Specialist, supporting children, teens, and families through complex medical experiences. In hospital environments, I provided psychoeducation and emotional support around procedures, hospitalization, new diagnoses, and grief and bereavement. I walked alongside children and caregivers through some of the most challenging moments of their lives, and I don’t take these experiences lightly – they deepened my belief in the resilience of young people, and their ability to grow when they feel safe, supported, and involved in their own care. These foundations also shape how I approach therapy today – developmentally informed, collaborative, and attentive to the entire family as a system.

Clinical Lens

My approach to therapy is relational, trauma-informed, and paced for your growth.

I am especially drawn to work that honors the transitions people move through across the lifespan – adolescence, emerging adulthood, relocation, relationship shifts, parenthood, and identity development. Together, we explore relationship patterns, family systems, and self-perception, while building practical tools to navigate life transitions, manage anxiety, and heal from difficult experiences.

I integrate several evidence-based approaches depending on your needs and goals, including:

  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

  • Attachment-Based Therapy

  • Multicultural and Identity-Affirming Therapy

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Mindfulness-based strategies

  • Family Systems & Narrative Therapy

  • Play-based and developmentally appropriate interventions for children

Everyone’s therapy process is unique. The approaches we use are tailored to your story, identity, and pace.

Why I Do This Work

I truly believe growth rarely happens in isolation. We are shaped in relationship, and healing can happen there too.

I provide a supportive space, where together we can explore your story, honor your experiences, and build resilience – at your pace and in your words.

Hailee Strong is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern in the state of Florida, practicing under the supervision of Tara Kellogg, LMFT # 2003.
